I took one out my first week of school and was hooked. It was preloaded with the bestsellers from the month of August so I had some great titles to choose from. I read five books in the three weeks that I borrowed the Kindle Fire. I loved it so much that I got one right after returning the loaner. Ereaders are the best, so convenient and fun!
:)
-Eileen
http://lookatthosebundts.blogspot.com/Eileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02507433747032407164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992559272616990962.post-22024575622562603152013-01-12T00:04:57.352-05:002013-01-12T00:04:57.352-05:00Thanks for sharing! I always despise reading from a computer screen so I imagine an e-reader screen would be somewhat similar. Did you run into this problem at all?

xx Ani
catchtwentyone.blogspot.comAnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14136429618286916072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992559272616990962.post-46045625268223046002013-01-11T23:50:06.020-05:002013-01-11T23:50:06.020-05:00I have a nook and I absolutely love it! I tend to borrow people my books then forget about them so it's nice to have them all in one place haha. The Fire is really for use as a tablet and for listening to audiobooks in the car, but I love to read on my 2nd gen. Kindle. I have it in a brown suede cover so that it even feels and smells a bit like an old book to me. I have to drive 80 miles to the nearest place to buy a book, so being able to get a new book instantly over the wireless function was a major seller. I also am one of those people who just cannot part with a book I have enjoyed, and our home was getting overrun. I had to do something. The biggest drawback I have found is having to turn it off for take-off and landing. This always happens when I'm at a "good part". It's also a horror when sitting on the runway for an hour waiting to take off "any moment". Otherwise, I love having an entire library in my purse and once I start reading it becomes a "real" book to me. Oh, and how about being able to get a new book the very moment it comes out? I love that!southernoraclehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09087885501623644462noreply@blogger.com
