There are few things in life that I can ALWAYS say yes to under nearly all circumstances.
Yesterday, one of them just happened to land on my doorstep.
A double-flavored Caroline's Cake was sent to my apartment a la my wonderful Mom.
1/2 of the cake is Caramel:
1/2 of the cake is Seven Layer Delight:
I tried to find a zoomed in picture so you could see all the alternating layers.
All seven layers of cake on BOTH sides is too good to put down! The arrival of all these luscious layers brightened my week and made the rest of my finance studying not AS bad. (It was still pretty awful...finding beta is only tolerable for so many hours...)
Anyway, needless to say even though I arrived home around 12:15pm for the first time since about 9:00am, I cut myself a slice and poured myself a cup of milk.

A lady in our church does the 7 layer cake and it is always amazing and so moist!!! Yours looks twice a good with 2 different varieties!
