Southern Wedding Week: The Photographs (+a Giveaway!)

Photographs are an important reminder of any special day! The fun of reliving any event the next day, week, month or even year makes the event itself that much better! You know you're lucky when you find a good photographer who really can capture the special moments! A few years ago my aunt had a beach wedding and didn't like ANY of the "photographer" photos, but liked my mom's much better instead. She wasn't as lucky as some local brides are with a close friend of mine!

Natalie Franke of Natalie Franke Photography (she's done photos for me personally!) is teaming up to host a FABulous giveaway! Natalie Franke is a wedding photojournalist and lifestyle photographer from the Maryland area. She is totally passport ready and loves to travel! Whether you're getting married at the Naval Academy in her hometown of Annapolis or on an island off the coast of Georgia, Natalie would love to capture the moments from your special day. She is so sweet! Natalie so graciously offered a free Engagement Session to the winner of today's giveaway!! HOW awesome is she? There are a few rules though, Engagement session includes up to two hours of photography & an online viewing + ordering gallery. Session must take place within a 50 mile radius of Annapolis, MD and must be scheduled before January 1st 2012. Farther travel negotiable with Natalie! This engagement session can be added to a wedding package and is transferable to friends, again all negotiable!

Southern Wedding Week: The Planning (+a Giveaway!)

Everyone knows I have a BIG ole' affinity for weddings. Plain and simple. Although, I do think most girls would probably share some/all of my wedding "thing". I absolutely love Say Yes to the Dress and SYTTD Atlanta. They're too much fun to watch! Another wedding publication I love is Southern Weddings! This magazine has such good suggestions and features for the perfect southern wedding!

They've done a big revamp of their website, so what better way to kick off a new website and a week of unique southern wedding ideas than to host a giveaway? The wonderful ladies over at SWMag have offered a copy of the most recent version of the magazine (V3) and I thought it would be just PERFECT for all of you readers! 

I know some of you are probably planning weddings yourself or in weddings as part of the bridal party, and I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to get a little inspiration!
