It's pretty dark but I'm maintaing it well so it's not chippy and gross. One entire nail coat came off sometime yesterday while I was eating dinner and I hope I didn't just eat it too...yuck!!! Anyway I really like this color for fall even though it is pretty dark. It's not even close to black though and I think it looks nice with all kinds of colors. I haven't had a real color beyond some shade of nude Essie nail polish since before the summer.
Do you have any good color suggestions? Dark colors that DON'T stain your nails?

i love a good deal, but i have found that the quality of the brush in more "expensive" polishes makes them go on better. right now i'm sporting opi's diva of geneva on my fingers and a mac burgundy on my toes. i rediscovered mac colors recently in my stash and those suckers last forever! i'm on the computer every day so i get a lot of chipping but i don't mind too much since i do my own nails... :)
I'm the same way about painting my toes! Even in the dead of winter when my feet are bundled away in boots, I change the polish as soon as it starts to chip and crack. On the plus side, I'm always ready for flip flop season :)
Love that colour! I always like to keep my toes polished, summer or not, as well, but I am the opposite I never match!
I almways have dark on my toes and in summer I like to keep my nails light and in winter I usually go for a gray/beige color. Right now I'm rocking Chinchilly byt Essie on my fingers!
LOVE the Essie color SOLE MATE!!! Its a rich plum with a hint of brown. Go check it out.
I'm currently wearing OPI "We'll Always Have Paris" which is a great deep purple. Very good for Fall - jewel tones are still major this season!
It's a pretty color and looks great on you, I like it! As far as other colors, I'm not any help, I still use polish from two and three years ago. :)
I ALWAYS have my toenails painted. "Naked" toenails are one of my biggest pet peeves, I hate them! I'm really loving Sally Hanson's complete salon manicure in Commander in Chic. It's a pretty gray that goes on really well.
I get that NYC polish too. I have a multitude of colors since it's so cheap but it does chip easily. I definitely always have to match my fingers and my toes too! Right now I am wearing a really pretty silvery-blue color (for a school event)...I think it's called blue cashmere something or other.
P.S. I have that bedding!
