Quack Quack

Quack Quack!

Duck Boots are a tried-and-true prep staple!

These duck boots are on my Christmas list in navy! But my question to those who currently own them is what size do you wear and what size does that translate into in your boots? It advises me for my 10.5 to go all the way down to a 9! That's a big jump, but I was just curious how to size them!

I love this height of the duck boots, the 6'', because they're functional and not overwhelmingly high up! I also like the navy because I wear navy more than black and I already have my brown cowboy boots.

So my question to y'all is about the sizing and if you like your duck boots?

Everyone in the reviews seems to RAVE about them and how much they love their boots and how they've owned them practically forever!! Thoughts?

I wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe so I ordered mine in a 9 in case I wore thick socks with them, but they're perfect with just regular socks. :) -e

I usually wear an 8.5 and I got an 8 and they seem to work fine! You can always wear some thicker socks with them if you need to. I just got mine on a trip to Freeport Maine (where LL Bean is headquartered!) and I love them! You definitely won't regret getting them!

This will be my first winter in a place where it actually snows - my LL Bean duck boots arrived in the mail this week :) Now I'm just waiting for the first real snow!

I am a tried and true 9.5 but I ordered a 9 for my 8" Duck Boots and they are still a bit big! XO

I'm normally a 7 1/2 or 8 but I wear mine in an 8. I like to pair super comfy thick socks with mine so keep that in mind when you are picking out a size! :)

I have an 8 in the shorter kind and I normally wear 8.5 or a 9.
They fit fine with thick socks, too.

I have a pair of the taller ones in a size 8, I wear a size 9 or 8 1/2 regularly, and they fit perfectly (with some room when I wear thick socks). I think it all depends on what sort of socks you are planning to wear with them!

My fiancee and I have both been wearing Bean Boots (as we call them) since we were in elementary school! We were them in the snow, in the rain, and even when we go quail hunts. They are THE perfect versatile shoe and fit so comfortably! I have them in the low ones and the 6" inch.. I have do have the tallest ones because I live in the mountains of NC where it snows a lot! They fit pretty true to size, but I would get a half a size up so you can wear thick socks. I wear an 8 or 8.5 and I got a 9 and they are perfect! You will love them!

I usually a US15 so I ordered a US14 when they came I found they were incredibly large, as an international customer it's not easy to return them so I've popped some insoles in them and doubled up my winter socks!

Still a tad big, but look awesome!

I have a pair of the 6" and 8" LL Bean boots and love them. The only problem with the 6" boots is I have to wear thick socks unless I want them to rubber a blister near my ankles. Also I got a half size smaller than what I usually wear!

I would order down at least a half size if not a whole size. I usually wear an 8.5 and got an 8 and I wish I went with a 7.5 because they are a little large even with thick socks.

You are going to love them!
