Giveaway Monday: Angela Moore Bracelet

When the awesome folks at Angela Moore contacted me, I was SO excited! I couldn't wait to pair with them for a Giveaway Monday event!

We are giving away an Angela Moore bracelet of YOUR CHOICE, up to $65! You can pick your favorite from all the different collections. There are pink and green, college colors, beach themes, and al kinds of other options on their site.

My favorite bracelet happens to be in the pink and green stack in the photo. I am swooning over the giraffe bracelet second from the bottom. My mom loves giraffes and she definitely passed that down to me. That giraffe bracelet just has my name written all over it!

Isn't this red, white and blue nautical stack just awesome too?

In order to enter, I'm going to use the rafflecopter widget to make it easy for everyone! Follow the rafflecopter steps to enter, and if you can't see the widget, click the title of this post.

Happy Entering!

xxKatie and the Angela Moore Team!

Bursts of Pink!

I'm a junk food junkie. Through and through. I love snacks, candy, chips, all of it! I especially like jelly beans.

Jelly beans are often elusive, especially when it's not Easter season! Many years ago, circa my middle school years, I discovered Jelly Belly Cotton Candy pink jelly beans. As soon as I mention "cotton candy" I'm sure most people gag. I actually think cotton candy is a misnomer. Being the self-proclaimed candy connoisseur that I consider myself, I believe that these would much more aptly be named "Pink".

If you could embody the flavor of pink and yummy, it is this jelly bean! Even my mom agreed with the flavor. I've gotten TONS of my friends and co-workers on board with the Jelly Belly Cotton Candy jelly beans!

My sister, knowing how much I love these jellies, got my a redneck wine glass filled to the BRIM with pink jelly beans! It was one of my favorite gifts. She adorned it with the best pink and green ribbons and raffia and it just screamed "Katie"! I've managed to limit myself to only a few every so often so that they'll last me as long as possibly while I'm here at school.

Does anything say "pink" to you like these jelly beans do for me? What are you favorite candies?

Happy St. Pat's SC!

SO, while most of you were out celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Thursday, I am celebrating today! LUCKY me gets to see Corey Smith today (woo hoo!!) and a few other bands from 1-6 in our college-y area of USC called Five Points.
Although a small photo, Five Points is the intersection of 5 major roads in Columbia, kinda cool huh?

It's supposed to be SUPER hot today so I'm not sure what I'm going to wear, but this was my Outfit of the Day on St. Patty's:

Hopefully I'll see some of my fellow USC and Columbia bloggers around!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Nothing says Happy (fill in the holiday) like themed cupcakes!! I'll be clad in green, pinching people who aren't and will be keeping an eye out for any leprechauns! Maybe if you're VERY lucky you might catch my jig! Here at school, our city is known for it's St. Pat's festival happening on Saturday! Corey Smith is coming and I'll be the St. Pat's chauffeur for the day, maybe we'll decorate my car for the day too!
Anyone going to St. Pat's?? Would love to see you there!!

Rest and Relaxation

In my house here at school I live on the front side where the sun rises. It gets SO bright in the morning in my room. In order to combat this a little, I invested in some fabulous blackout curtains! Target had a great selection and even had a great color that matched my bedspread:
There's a super fun monochromatic print in the curtain and really matches my bedspread well:
The curtains don't block out 99% of the light, like the package says but they do work very well compared to just the blinds and the white curtains I had up before these. At night they REALLY darken the room and I can't see the lights in my neighborhood at all. They are SO conducive to resting and relaxing when I need to! They were a great addition to my very pink and green room and brighten up my wall a bunch!
