Giveaway Monday: Angela Moore Bracelet

When the awesome folks at Angela Moore contacted me, I was SO excited! I couldn't wait to pair with them for a Giveaway Monday event!

We are giving away an Angela Moore bracelet of YOUR CHOICE, up to $65! You can pick your favorite from all the different collections. There are pink and green, college colors, beach themes, and al kinds of other options on their site.

My favorite bracelet happens to be in the pink and green stack in the photo. I am swooning over the giraffe bracelet second from the bottom. My mom loves giraffes and she definitely passed that down to me. That giraffe bracelet just has my name written all over it!

Isn't this red, white and blue nautical stack just awesome too?

In order to enter, I'm going to use the rafflecopter widget to make it easy for everyone! Follow the rafflecopter steps to enter, and if you can't see the widget, click the title of this post.

Happy Entering!

xxKatie and the Angela Moore Team!

BBE

Not BB&T or the BBC, but BBE. What's that you ask?

BaubleBar and Essie

TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS!

(Sidebar: Not on BaubleBar yet? Get your invite and special unlock code here!)

This color is called "Snap Happy" and definitely has collection potential. I NEED it!
"Where's My Chauffeur" is a great mint green which has been on-trend for awhile now! I love the bracelet pairing.
I saw this color, "Beyond Cozy" in Target the other day and now that it's part of this collection, I might have to snag it and create a stack!

That's the BaubleBar offer--you get to create your own Essie inspired stack. You build it with the first bracelet and polish combo, then you pick two more!
You could add in this gold bangle!
I would HAVE to incorporate this pearl bracelet into my stack, it's perfect!

This combo would make a GREAT gift for your sorority big, roommate or sister! Gotta start being on the lookout for those gifts now!!

Bracelet Mania

What are some of your go-to Christmas gifts? Enamel bracelets are among my favorites. There are so many choices and you can even personalize them for a more special gift!

C. Wonder has these enamel bracelets that are PERFECT for a gift for friends and sisters. I love the way this stack looks when they're all together. Shimmery, shiny, and colorful enamel, what's a better combo than that?

This Target bracelet looks like a much, much more expensive designer known for clover bracelets and necklaces. It's only $40 from Target--can you believe that?!

Although a little later in the season, this Gameday bracelet is PERFECT! It's even on sale!

Kenneth Jay Lane is always a favorite, and this floral and pearl design is a KJL classic. I imagine this with anything from a black shift to your favorite Lilly!

This "Heart of Gold" one from Kate Spade is perfect for anyone close to your heart! What a sweet way to tell someone you're thinking of them!

What do you like to give as gifts? These are some great suggestions if you need a little help during this upcoming holiday season--it'll be here before you know it! Isn't that how it always happens?!

A Stack: Pink & Gold

I like to stack while I'm at work! I like to include lots of different elements in my stack like you can see here: pearls, chain, thin bangles and lots of color!

This was actually one of my favorite stacks recently! I LOOOOVE the nautical rope bracelet with those knobby knots right in the middle--they stay on SO well. The pink bracelets are Lilly (available basket ones here...I think they were also in that big ole' Lilly Summer Sale) and the pearl and chain is from Atlanta market and in Pink Sorbet right now.

I also usually like to incorporate my watch from Target, but I wasn't wearing that on this day! Sometimes it hurts my wrist a little and I'm not entirely used to wearing it, so I tend to forget it a few times a week!
You can get it for LESS THAN $15!! I seriously love mine and I think it looks way more expensive than $15. I get a ton of compliments on it, and people are always asking where it's from! I like to say, "Le Tarj"AKA Target.

I'm totally not the inventor of the stack--I think Carly from College Prepster was the first person to make the stack really sing, but I'm sure glad she did!

What's on your stack? Any certain pieces that are always a part of it?!

Carolina Cup: It's A Wrap!

CAROLINA CUP WAS A BLAST!
(Photo thanks to the Lilly Pulitzer Instagram, seen here!)

I can't explain how much fun I had! I spent about 2/3 of the day working and the other 1/3 popping around from tent to tent making the rounds to say hello to everyone!

As you can see, the day started out a little wet. And by a little I mean a few raindrops less than pouring. I had my fabulous pink Hunter boots on to stay dry and un-muddy! It worked out perfectly for the morning, but thankfully it perked up a bit and our weather majorly improved!

This is another view of my outfit:
As you can see, once the weather changed for the better, I slipped into my Platinum Jacks and was good to go!

And my Carolina Cup bangle stack:
It was a combo of bangles from my own collection including J. Crew and KEP Designs!

The dress on the left, the Lilly Pulitzer Lottie Dress in the Multi State of Mind Patch was probably the most popular dress that I saw! I don't think I could ever get sick of that patch though because I always learn new things when I see it!

Some of my favorite parts of the day were meeting LBP followers and Twitter friends, like sweet Morgan here! I felt like I knew her already and we both go, "I'M SO GLAD TO FINALLY MEET YOU!!" when we saw one another!

I was also SO excited to meet Sally, our fabulous Lilly rep who has made SO many of my important outfits possible (read: Cup, 21st Birthday, etc.)! How cute does she look in the Ricci shift in that same patch!? Kathryn and I had to snag a picture with her!

I was able to sneak off for a little while to find some of my friends and we all snagged a few pictures together!

All in all, Carolina Cup was a HUGE success! I don't know how I can beat it next year! I can't say thank you enough to all of the wonderful Lilly ladies who took me in as one of their own, LBP followers who came up and chatted, friends who paid me visits, and everyone else who made this such a fun day! This was TOTALLY the BEST CUP EVER!

Until next year, Carolina Cup!

Gild the Lily

This was one of the beautiful gifts that arrived for me in the mail from one of the sweetest friends I have.

I wasn't entirely sure of the meaning of this idiom, so I gave it a little Google search. I read the meaning and almost started crying. My favorite of the meanings was,

"To make superfluous additions to what is already complete".

Thank you thank you Sarah and Kate Spade for the wonderful beginning to my birthday weekend!!

Accessories Essentials: Gold & Pearls

Hmm, say that five times fast! Betcha can't--too many S's! Speaking of too many S's, try the world's HARDEST tongue twister:
The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick.
No matter how many times I try, I can't get it right. And it's not like it's any certain word or spot. Every time I seem to mess it up in a different spot!!

Anyway, I've been browsing accessories like CRAZY these days! Here are some of my recent faves:
Kate Spade
This is my absolute favorite I've seen in awhile! I know this isn't a new piece by Kate S., but I love it!!
Fornash
I have this guy and I've worn it so many times! Even better tip, wear it doubled up!

I have recently been LOVING gold and pearls and the combination of BOTH! How about you? Do you like gold for summer and fall?

Stand Tall

Being a tall girl has some perks, seeing over people in a crowd, finding your family in big groups of people, good driving visibility, and being able to help people in the grocery store. It has it's pitfalls too, hard to find clothes, being taller than most of the boys, wearing big shoes, having to buy bigger-sized winter coats, you get the idea.

Some times hearing all the "Did you play basketball?" and "How tall ARE you?" gets a little old. I just stumbled upon this little bracelet of confidence by Kate Spade as part of their "Idiom" line:
Orange

Brown

I love the bracelet and the little giraffe print--tall and cute! I just love this mini-homage to my fellow tall girls out there, kudos Kate Spade!!

Marley Lilly Present!

The wonderful folks over at Marley Lilly sent me this FABULOUS polka dot tote! I was lucky enough to get the brown/green combo personalized with a K just the other day! I can't wait to make this my absolutely perfect pool bag. The round top handles are so much fun to carry around and make it super sturdy. You can check them out here! Some of my other favorite ML products include:
LOVE these personalize-able croakies! Anyone who is Greek should definitely look into the dual monogram/embroidery with Greek letters!
Not a fan of that Clemmy orange/white combo (GO GAMECOCKS!) but I love the big script font and the idea of a monogrammed scarf!
I actually have this exact bracelet but not from ML. My sister gave it to me as a Confirmation sponsor gift and I LOVE it! I would highly suggest snatching one of these bracelets up while you can. Plus they're only $36!

Have you made any Marley Lilly purchases? I'm a huge fan! Thanks again for my new tote!!

Coach + Cupcake

Over break, we did some shopping at the outlets while we were at the beach for New Year's and I happened to snatch up this ADORABLE key fob:
It is SO me! It's pretty huge on my key chain (which only has 3 real keys to begin with and is pretty fat anyway) but I really love it! My friends are not at all surprised when they see I've got one on there, so I'd say it's quite a hit!

I also was lucky enough to pick up this bracelet (usually Coach isn't my type of stuff at all, but I really got lucky since we were making returns!):
Sorry it's so small, it's a very difficult bracelet to find! Whoever designed this bangle needs to patent the size because the width is seriously PERFECT for smaller wrists. I have another garnet and silver Coach bangle that is too big for my wrists but hard to fit my hand it, but this hinge bracelet is a great fit!

I hope all my Southern favorites who aren't used to these conditions are staying safe in the snow!!

Pink Sorbet Jewels!

After a long week last week, I paid the wonderful ladies over at Pink Sorbet a visit! I just love going into their store, it's beautiful and bright (and HUGE) and always fully-stocked! I saw the #1 and #2 dresses I would LOVE to have this season in there and lusted away. Instead though, I spotted a bracelet on their facebook page that I decided would be a much more realistic purchase.
The bracelet that I snagged is in the top row, column two with the gold hook and eye closure. LOOOOVE IT! I grabbed that for myself (a little treat after a week that kicked my boo-tay) that didn't break the bank. I stayed and chatted with the lovely ladies about how my Lilly store at home had flooded (so sad--sending out Crab love!!) with all the monsoon rain and about how much I loved the fall line. I told them who I was and they recognized me from here--so much fun! I had a great time and had to show you all the fab bracelet I bought! I believe they just got a lot of this jewelry in, so I'm sure they're still got a lot of it on their hands for any of my USC/Columbia readers!

Kenneth Jay Lane Pieces

After working at the Lilly store, my appreciation for Kenneth Jay Lane grew. I had only seen them from a distance at a few stores by me, but we carried a few KJL accessories and so I got to try them on and pick out my favorites. Here are a few of my favorite designs:
The KJL Giraffe
I love this bracelet and it comes in many different color choices! There's a deep garnet color that would be such a fun piece for gameday! I know the pink is very me though, and this shade would go with very much of my closet. I love giraffes too (tall girl, tall animal, you get the idea...) so this is very cute!

Pave Bracelet
This cuff is so pretty! Imagine this with a black dress or a simple shift at a party! It's so glamorous and I'm sure VERY sparkly in person. This is all you'd need to pair with a dress and you're all set!

Cuff Braclet
I love the deep hues in this bracelet. The touches of gold that peek out between the stones make it a lot more wearable as well!

Crystal Starfish Bracelet
You all know I love a good starfish on just about anything! I think the white bracelet is TDF but the orange and blue are too fun! I would totally wear the coral/red one on Gameday and the blue one would be so sweet in the summer with any of my Lilly!

Cultured Pearl Bracelet
This one is oh-so-glamourous! The pearls look so pretty with the pave diamonds and I love the pattern. This could be paired with SO many different things and would be a great way to "jack up" (Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta!!) any outfit!

Bangle Bracelet
This would be SO perfect for any Clemson or Auburn or U of Florida girl! With a fun dress and this bracelet in school colors, you'd be ALL set for Gameday! What a fun addition!

Anyone else a big KJL fan? Has anyone read his book Faking It? I'd be interested to hear what he'd have to say about all his famous clients and stuff!

Be sure to enter the giveaway for this week provided by The Posh Palm!! It ends Friday!!

xxKatie
