Cracked OUT

It's actually kind of ironic that the background screen is "Love" on that BlackBerry. Today I have to do one of my least favorite things in the world: go get cell phone help.

I mean, really though, does anyone enjoy going to get technical support. I'm hoping that today I will wake up with lots of patience and support in order to see what Verizon can do for me!

I have recently been having SO. MANY. PROBLEMS. with my BlackBerry. Just yesterday, I was trying to tweet or use the internet and all of a sudden, with no warning, the screen would turn black and it would do a soft reset (as I've learned after doing some research). I tweeted about my issues and SO many people responded saying they had similar problems and that I either had a battery issue or it was about to really bite the dust. Unfortunately I'm not up for a renewal until June, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Verizon will have some kind of affordable option for me to take advantage of.

All I have to say is: iPhone, here I come!

We have had SO many problems with Verizon over the years. We have found the best way to get anything accomplished is to send an email straight to customer service at headquarters, whereas the annoying sales people don't really want to help you. Also when I got an iphone I think we bipassed a couple of Verizon's wacky fees by getting it at the apple store. Good luck! I absolutely despise the Verizon store they always act like you are the idiot when its their phone that doesn't work.

My Blackberry acts up a lot too; my Verizon store was able to give me someone's old battery who had recently upgraded, so I didn't have to buy a new one. It has been a lifesaver! My contract is up in June too, & I'm going to make the switch to an Iphone, even thought I love my BB keyboard! Ask if they have a battery you can have - be direct about it though, bc they don't just offer it up - they want you to buy one!

With Verizon, if you are not due for a renewal until June, if you are on a family plan, you can take someone else's upgrade earlier than when the upgrade is due for your phone #. I had to do that last June when my blackberry crapped out and the scroll button stopped working. now, since a waitress spilled my alcoholic drink on it at the end of december, the keys stick and it will freeze. my upgrade is next month (contract renewal) and i could've switched to my iphone in feb because they'll let you renew a contract 2 months in advance.

hope it lasts for you until june!

I hate going to the phone store! I just switched from my blackberry to the iPhone yesterday. It took a trip to two phone stores because the first one sold the one that was on hold for me.... Hope everything worked out!
