GIveaway: Tracy Negoshian

All my SEC ladies love their Tracy Negoshian!
Gameday is well, the name of the game!

I see SO many Tracy Negoshian dresses at Gameday and they are PERFECT especially as we start to transition into chilly-er weather. Some of the most important games fall toward the end of the season: rivals week, Championship games AND Bowl games! The season is hardly over when it really starts to get cold!
Can't decide if you're a Clemson or Carolina fan--this is the dress for you! (I would say though, that it's definitely more of a Clemson Gameday dress!)
This is another great garnet and black combination Gameday dress!
This makes a great Gameday dress and even a good work dress!
Of course I have to include an Auburn version for my sister and all her sorority sisters too!

Enter today's Tracy Negoshian dress giveaway here:

I can't wait to announce this winner!!

"In the Still of the Night..."

"In the Still of the Night" is one of my favorite songs from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack AND the way that I traveled to Auburn, AL last night!

After work, I had the bright idea of going to Auburn since my sister said that it was a "ghost town" for the long weekend. I remember those weekends when no one was around as being among the most lonely, so I got in my car and drove the 5 hours to Auburn, Alabama!

We have done all kinds of fun touristy things today!

Happy September y'all! Enjoy your long weekend!

Care Packages: To Auburn With Love

I'm sending an awesome sister package to my little sister down at Auburn in the next few days!
This PERFECT Gameday necklace and another one from Bauble Bar are part of it!

When I saw this Amanda Catherine Designs set, I knew it would be ideal for our Aubie girl!

There are a few other pieces on their way, but I can't spoil the entire surprise!

What do y'all like to include in your little packages like these? Snacks? Stuff? Silly things?

Any last minute suggestions for me?

Summer Statements: Zolie Designs

Y'all know that this summer has been the summer of the accessory for me. I've bulked up my collection thanks to all kinds of sites online. I have loved pairing statement necklaces with strapless dresses and tops this summer and I look forward to integrating them into my fall wardrobe and Gameday wardrobe as well!

Zolie Designs is a great go-to option for awesome statement jewelry. Here are a few of my favorite pieces:
Pink, green, and some glitz? This has LBP ALL over it!
Pink and orange is such a great combination for summer through fall. I could see this working with the majority of my closet!
Speaking of Gameday, this could be perfect for my sister who's headed down to Auburn in under a month! Blue and orange has got to be calling any Auburn Tiger for Gameday!
This would be another awesome Gameday piece for a Gamecock, Alabama fan or Georgia Bulldawg! Just not a summer Gameday or you could be crusin' for a brusin' with a crazy suntan line. I'd rock this over a black dress and turtleneck, jumper style--a favorite cold Gameday look of mine.
Picture this necklace with a white oxford button down and navy shorts and white Jack Rogers OR skinny jeans and boots. Talk about transition!

Zolie Designs has graciously offered LBP readers 10% off with the code: BEPREPPY

There is a statement necklace to match any outfit option, summer THROUGH fall! Which one is your favorite?

Toomer's Corner

Congrats on your graduation (WITH distinction!) to my sister Grace and all of the class of 2012!

Grace is headed to Auburn in the fall and we couldn't be more excited to be a house divided!

In honor of Auburn, part of her graduation party was our DIY Toomer's Corner:
To quote "The Parent Trap" this "brilliant beyond brilliant idea" came to my Mom and she and I kept it a secret from Grace!
Before everyone started to arrive, I decided to get Toomer's Corner started...
Awkwardly, I was pretty good at it, but I'm not sure how all those Tigers do it on SUCH a high tree!
For those who aren't familiar with Toomer's Corner, this is what it looks like after football wins! Read more here.
This was just one of many of the TP-ed trees in our backyard in our own Toomer's Corner! It ended up being so much fun and a great activity to get all the little kids involved in! Definitely something to think about if someone you know is headed to Auburn!

HAPPY GRADUATION GRACE! It was great to celebrate with you on Saturday!

(P.S.: It's REALLY weird to write about another SEC school's tradition. Just sayin'...GO GAMECOCKS.)

A Gift: Amanda C. Bee

As a surprise for my sister and I, my sneaky Mom asked good friend, Amanda Bee to do a few custom pieces for us! I've been itching to show y'all!
This is a custom copy of a photo from MANY MANY years ago of my sister and I:
How sweet did it turn out?! We LOVED the Amanda Bee version! My Mom gave Amanda a few more original photos and this is what Amanda came up with:
A lot of my facebook friends will know this photo from when my sister visited me for the Auburn game!
Y'all have ALL seen this one as well before on LBP--a few of my faaaavorite Baaaaaay ladies! All us Annapolitans just swoon over these Amanda Bee portraits!

Have you wanted Amanda to do one of yours? I know she's done a few for some other fabulous bloggers--be sure to check her out for a wonderful gift or memento!

A House Divided

My sister is in town for the USC/Auburn game this weekend!

She very may well be an Auburn Tiger in a few months, so this weekend we are quite the house divided! While she'll be donning her garnet and black garb this weekend, I think she's probably pulling for the Auburn Tigers (thankfully it's not those other Tigers that we will NOT be naming!) just this one game!

I am so excited for our little mini-competition and can't wait to have a great day at the game tomorrow!

GO GAMECOCKS!

xxKatie

P.S.: Happy October y'all!
